Flower ideas....

I haven't exactly decided what it is I want for the center pieces and the bouquet. I have some definite ideas, but the majority of my planning will come down to the budget. 

I love peonies...

I love this color combination for my palette...

And this bouquet is beautiful!

I was thinking of using mint julep cups and champagne buckets to hold the flowers, and perhaps have a few candelabras also...

I'll be meeting with Bruce from Biltmore Events Designs in June when I get back from my fiance's brother's wedding... Maybe I'll have more inspiration! =)

Always Awkward....

Starting a blog is a little like the first day of school. You're excited, a little nervous to find out if anyone will like you, and always, always awkward. So here goes..

     I was engaged on May 1, 2009 and it has thrown my life for a tailspin. In one quick, happy moment my life has changed dramatically. I now have to look for a home, plan a wedding, and move into true adulthood. So here goes!?
