Bridal Shower Flower Power...

I bought 20 of these blue Mason jars off Ebay and this is a great idea for the flowers for the shower... And sorry about the headline, I just couldn't resist =)

Something New for Something Blue???

I was searching on Ebay the other day and stumbled upon this Judith Leiber miniaudier in a pale aqua. Though it would cost much more than I should pay for a handbag that won't even be seen in my hand (a bouquet will be in one palm, my new hubby's hand in the other) that doesn't mean I can lust from afar!!!

Bridal Shower Dress...

As of lately, I have been a real Lilly Pulitzer fan. For anyone who knows me, this should come as a real shock. However, I have learned to embrace my inner WASP and have bought not only a few swimsuits, but also some school supplies for my classroom. Additionally, I am loving this dress for my bridal shower... Check it out, and other cute dresses at Splash of Pink

Rehearsal dinner...

My rehearsal dinner is going to have a Cuban theme and here are some of my ideas...

-My main inspiration are these vintage posters...

Under 21 will have a place card attached to this...
While the Over 21 crowd will have a place card attached to this!
Possible table clothes (from Over the Top Linens)...

With straw hats as part of the decor (with flowers around the brim)...
Some glass vases, but with red floating candles...
Cuban bongos with flowers too...

And tropical leaves glued together to make a table runner down the center...
This could all change very quickly if Las Vegas Cuban Cafe in Coral Gables can't fit us all on a Saturday night, but who knows!
